Movie Nights in Chinatown Park

Kung Fu Panda 3

Join us in support of the Mayor's Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA) Chinatown Park movie series. These Asian and Pacific Islander-themed films will be screened outside in Chinatown Park. Kungfu Panda 3 will be screened as soon as it gets dark (estimated at 7:30 pm). They will also hold cultural activities, provide related library materials for check out and share information about library cards and DC Summer Challenge programs. The GW Confucius Institute will lead the cultural activity - Chinese Paper-cutting.

Guests are asked to bring their own blankets, chairs and bug spray if needed. There will be a portable restroom on site. Popcorn and popsicles will be provided while supplies last. Any changes or cancellations due to weather will be posted on MOAPIA's social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram: @dcmoapia).   • Pandas in Real Life : Learn from experts at the National Zoo about some of the real animals from tonight’s film!
