Movie Nights in Chinatown Park

Kung Fu Panda 3

The Mayor's Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA) screend Kungfu Panda 3 as a part of the Chinatown Park movie series. They held cultural activities, provided related library materials for check out and shared information about library cards and DC Summer Challenge programs. The GW Confucius Institute led the cultural activity - Chinese Paper-cutting. This event was free and open to the public.

ACTIVITIES:

  • Film Screening begins at dusk (around 7:30pm)
  • Free Snacks (Mini mooncakes, Popcorns, Popsicles)
  • Arts and Crafts : Paper lantern making, Bracelet making, Calligraphy, Paper Cutting, Coloring
  • Pandas in Real Life : Learn from experts at the National Zoo about some of the real animals from tonight’s film!
  • Library card sign ups and film/season themed books to check out
