The George Washington University Confucius Institute and Nanjing University’s School of International Students will once again host the symposium for the 4th year on May 6, 2018 on the GW Foggy Bottom Campus. The symposium has invited renowned scholars and professors in education, including Dr. Frank Lixing TANG, Dr. Helen Heling SHEN, and Dr. Dongdong CHEN. The 2018 symposium will not only continue following topics on Chinese language and culture education and research, but also add in topics on New Media and Chinese language teaching research, international education pedagogy, and graduate student research. The symposium is designed to promote and advance Chinese language instruction in the Washington, DC area as well as promote US-China cultural exchange and participation.
